I currently have a 2-2.5" Budget Boost lift on my 2001 GC..... my question is this... Can I also add a Suspension Spring Lift 2.5" front / 2.0" rear and keep the Budget Boost lift as well? Using both the Budget Boost and lifted springs together.
Thanks in advance.

If I were going for 4 1/2" lift on a WJ that would not be the route I would follow, for that range a long arm should be considered and maintain the ride/comfort you have. After all this is not a lighter weight/smaller XJ by any means.

Would using just 4.5" springs have other issues? I keep hearing about needing a long arm with lifts that high. I don't have money to burn on some expensive kit yet I also want to keep my ride quality the best I can since it's my daily driver. I know there's tons of guys out there running the basic 4" Rough Country spring only lifts. I'm not against buying a nicer kit but a $1000-2000 lift is out of the budget.

Slip Yoke Eliminator. It moves the length-changing function of the rear driveshaft from the transfer case output to the driveshaft itself with splines in the shaft.

So 4" lift springs and a Slip Yoke Eliminator will provide all the correct angles to eliminate drive line vibration / death wobble? I'd really like to run a 4" lift but since I drive it every day it still needs to be as close to a stock drive as possible.

If money is an issue then save it for a while as you will need a kit, not just some springs. If you don't know yourself I suggest you do a lot more reading to become more informed on the subject.
On second thought your best bet may be to take it to a 4x4 Shop that does a lot of Jeeps and ask them what all you will need and the cost of all the items like the lift, shocks, brake lines, SB Disco's, SYE, driveshaft, etc., etc. Usually the lift kit itself the cheapest part of doing a complete job.
BTW the RC lifts are the cheapest on the market but a member who posts here has one of there long arm kits on his Grand and has had very good luck with it.

I was thinking (burning wood smell), and you'll have to replace the front shaft with one without the CV joint because it doesn't have enough travel in it.

Fred - I am reading more by utilizing this forum. I know my share when it comes to vehicle work. I'll never take it to a shop who charges an outrageous amount to do work. They murder the consumer by charging what they do to install a lift. I've been looking at the long arm kits and positive I could do the install... they are just so expensive and I also have two other projects on my plate.... an 81 K5 Blazer and an 82 C10 shortbox. I want to keep improving the Jeep too but money is tight with so many projects at once..... always looking for a less expensive way to do things and still do them right and safe. If the Jeep was my only vehicle to worry about, I'd have an awesome expensive lift on it. I like to do research before I do something that is either unsafe or not recommended.

You missed my point about the shop and taking it there, that was to find out everything you will need and some of the costs as you have no idea.
I use a shop for about all of my work, one that has been open for over 25 yrs. and very reasonable I might add. They installed my last lift for $200 then installed gears and lockers ft. & rear $400 total, install SYE, new chain and other items in the TC for another $200, driveshaft's, U/LCA's Adj., Align., new shocks all in those labor amounts. Cheap and they do it quick and right the first time.
I balance things also but I do nothing unless I can do any of them right the first time. Have been into Drag Racing for almost 50 yrs and there is nothing cheap about it any more and I love guns and the radio hobby lol.
