Investing in a new radiator.

Investing in a new radiator.
Have a '96 Grand Cherokee Limited and I'm thinking of investing in a new radiator. I live in south Texas and I was just thinking that I could use an upgrade, especially with these hot summers. Any thoughts or suggestions from my fellow ZJ owners?

I've never replaced a radiator in a ZJ, however I've had a history with Chevy trucks, which are notorious for bad radiators. The OEM is a single row of cooling tubes. The heavy duty one is a double row, and the diesel one is a 3 row. I lucked out and found a 350 diesel tow truck in the JY and bought the radiator. I never had a problem with my Chevy overheating again.
I believe the ZJ with A/C has a double row. IDK if that's true, however it's a starting point.

What engine? You can get a two row for the 4.0, but it's pretty spendy. I just replaced my radiator in ZJ with the 4.0, it was kind of a pain in the butt. It's as if Jeep built the vehicle around the radiator. www.rockauto.com has radiators for about a hundred bucks.
