On 11/20/13, I bought a 1994 Limited with 151000 miles on it. The $650.00 price tag fit my budget well also. The first thing I have noticed wrong is the idle. Warmed up, it idles at 450 rpm. The motor has great power, tranny shifts like a dream, no missing or cutting out, just idles at a solid 450 rpm. I am curious is there a way to set the curb idle on these?

bad IAC and maybe bad TPS. Replace the sensors. Rockauto have them, buy some in the high price range.

 

Local idiotzone has the IAC in stock. Got four inches of snow this morning. Gives me an excuse to try out the 4X4.The ZJ is really nice with perfect leather. Motor seems really solid. My last Jeep was a 1997 Cherokee 4.0, 5 speed, 2 wheel drive, and nothing else except air. Loved that thing. Had 400000 miles on it when I got rid of it.
