I have a set injectors from a 5.2 with much lower miles then mine and wanted to know the correct procedure for cleaning them.. I've done some searches and didn't fine the infor I was looking for. I've hear that Seaform is the way to go but wondering if there is a more cost effective way. Thank you the help..

Millers Oils for Petrol... run the tank low to say 2 gallons then squirt a couple of shots into the mix and run.. I run the 2.7D and mine had a misfire on the diesel, put in Millers then one every fill up and.... No misfire!! Steady as a rock now!

Give it a blast!

Just let them soak in some Seafoam or carb cleaner for 24hrs, that's really the best you can do unless you want to rebuild them with new pintle caps, filters, o-rings etc.

Ya...it's all inside the injectors

No thread really needed, pretty straight forward. Pop off the pintle caps, snap some new ones on and the filters just come out of the top, just yank on them with some needle nose pliers. If you really need some help look at some of the 703 injector swap threads, it's outlined in some of them.

Thank you, just haven't ever messed with any injectors as I 've always had a carb before. All this electronics is fairly new to me. I could tear down your transmission or carb or engine and rebuild them, just never did any injectors before. Just wanted some visuals before tearing into them..

thank you for the tip..
