I'm completely puzzled

ever since the start of the winter the alarm on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee has been going off at all hours of the night some nights it does and sometimes it doesnt I've changed all door sensors and all relayes and added more weather stripping but it doesn't seem to fix the problem any ideas?

Check the dome light switch on the rear hatch. I believe it's in the latch mechanism.

Ya, I've been trying to steal it.. but the alarm scares me off..

But seriously, what normally sets these alarms off? (I don't have one) Could a cat jumpin' on it set it off? Like a motion sensor? Maybe someone really IS messing with it? Of course, if it's like in your garage or somewhere secure, I don't have any ideas.
