1998 Grand Cherokee, 4wd, 4.0 Laredo package. I'm repairing some collision damage to the right-front and have a smashed switch-sensor-don't have a clue what it is, or was. Black/med.blue wire coming from the horn wire-loom lead-out.I don't know if it went under the apron or on top of it. This is in front of and below the battery. There's not enough of it left to make any kind of visual i.d., but I'm thinking that maybe some kind of air-temp. sensor. It's not the sensor for the thermometer. Any ideas would be appreciated. BTW, no fog lights.

Should have 2 fans. looking at it the belt driven fan on the left side and a electric fan on the right side??? The ones I always saw were like that. Unless they did somthing on some I dont know about???

If the end is black and flat, it clips to the bottom of the battery tray. It's the battery temp sensor. You have a picture?

Could be the airbag sensor. On my 97 ZJ, it was clipped or bolted to the horn bracket. Don't remember which. Found it when replacing the horns.

Looks like the fog lamp connector. Either fog lamp has a lt blue wire and black wire. The harness is there whether it has the lamps or not. You will probably find an identical connector/wires/color on the other side for the other lamp.
