Default flashing dash lights Cherokee KK 2009

when going over a bump on the road, the dash lights go crazy coming on and off along with a repeated sound (same as the sound you hear when the petrol is low) This happens occasionally and not at all road bumps.

further info...
Pressing the ..... brakes hard seems to cure it.
It happens when I turn left and hit a bump.
The air bag sign stays on for a while after the dash lights stop flashing.

we checked all the wiring especially under the passenger seat and it looks ok.

please help

QUOTE=TazmanIII;3332529]Occasionally not always. Seconds after starting my Jeep the dash goes crazy. All the lights on the dash flash...go off and on. Headlights go off and on and a blinker like clicking is heard during the 15 - 20 second event. this has happened several times now and was told it might be a computer issue. Any suggestions. It is a 2006 Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi, Automatic transmission with 3.73 gears front and back. I appreciate any input you have. Thanks[/QUOTE]

Default 02 Overland 4.7HO Quadra Drive Turning Issue

Hi fellas. New to the forum. Just wanted to see opinions on what it could be. My 02 WJ Quadra Drive is having issues turning. Driff fluid replaced 1000 miles ago with what the booklet calls for in both diffs. Little bit of vibration while driving and sometimes clunks when going in gear from reverse to drive vice versa. When low speed turning it sounds like the front axle is binding. Wondering if maybe y'all think it could be the axle going bad. Diff going bad. Or maybe an easy fix of the u joints as I've seen on other forums that turning issues could possibly be the u joints. But it's a subtle clunk switching gears and it's not a bad vibration while driving either which makes it seem like it couldn't be the u joints. Idk tho. New to the jeep fixing world. Owned a 96 2dr 4.0 Cherokee back when I was 18. Just bought this 02 because I missed the jeep feel! Any advice would be great 👍 thanks in advance!

Smile Fuel pump Relay question

Hi there, I've looked around for this question and haven't found it in search, ect. I'm also really new to this as I have posted other questions on here and it stated I haven't! Hmmm.
I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo I6 4.0. I need to purge the old fuel from it's tank into a container that's all setup for it. But my question is: While I am at the Relay/Fuse box with the "Fuel Pump Relay" pulled from it I need to know how to jump it (with my paperclip) Meaning what numbers do I use to do so. #87 to #30...#85 to #86...( also has a center slot as a #87a) I would really appreciate if this question could be answered by you or a knowledgeable person who knows there stuff. Thanks so much for your time and expertise. Todd.

Hello everyone. My brother in law bought a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo a couple months ago. Everything was working fine until maybe three days ago. He made it to my house so that I could check why his rear wiper was working even when the switch was set to off. I check all fuses and pull the one related to the rear wiper it was good. I put the fuse back and did a reset on the ECM by disconnecting the battery pole. OMG! after connecting the battery a flood of codes came up. the car had the engine, brake, abs and to other lights on. and it would go above the 2k rpm. the codes read as follows:

After some research I changed his abs module, the wheel speed sensors and the BCM located by the Tipm and did the reset making both neg and pops cables touch for a couple of hours. the car still has the lights on and doesn't go above the 2k rpm. what am I missing? please help!

Default 2005 GC locking fuel door mod

So I am having issues with people siphoning gas out of my Jeep. I have looked into a locking gas cap but the reviews on them have been bad. Unless someone has a suggestion for a brand that they have used and it’s lasted then I was wondering if someone has ever modified the fuel door into one with a lock? I am up to any and all suggestions. Thanks

Default Center Console Pen Clip and Tissue Holder

Not sure if the 4.0 has the same as that's at my job. Haven't messed with that too much as of yet.
I read somewhere it was for holding a pen. So that's what I have in mine.

Default 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Climate Control Problem

Good Day,

My Jeep Grand Cherokee overland was parked in cold weather for the last 2 months ( this was due to some poor communication with my insurance company )
So the battery went dead … it was shot. It was boosted to bring to my fathers garage. Heat was working perfect . My father replaced the battery , everything is working fine , but the climate control will not come on now at all so I can’t get heat! The heated seats work, the heated steering wheel works but no heat for anywhere else . Can someone help … I am hoping this does not have to go back to a dealership, as there is none in my hometown , and I just got it back here today from 8 months dealing with my insurance company.

After I click on the climate control in the center it brings me here and I can’t do anything there to get it on

This is all it shows , so I click on the Middle climate button and it brings me to another screen

Nobody replied to my question, so I guess I'll have to figure it out myself.

Exclamation Looking for some genuine help.

First off thanks for letting me be here first time here.
I am looking for some help. Idk if I’m missing something or not.
I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L

I do not know much about the jeep. But I replaced a number of parts

ignition
ignition coil
distributor cap & rotor
map sensor
up and down steam o2 sensors
along with a crankshaft position sensor

now my question is. If my code comes up on my old sensor and my new sensor. P1391 is it my sensor that’s no good or is it something else??

let me elaborate the jeep starts amazing no problem but once it gets to normal running temp it dies. It will start again right away but will run for about ten seconds and die. Then you let it sit it runs then dies when it gets to normal running temp then dies. Makes no sense to me. I have orders a new crankshaft position sensor and a new camshaft position sensor for the distributor. Could there be other causes besides the pcm. I’ve wiggled the connectors on the pcm and no change in the motor running.

sorry for the novel and Tia for any help
