Thanks,

Hi all, does anyone have a picture of the blend door motor on the 2000 cherokee? Under the glove box. Mine seems like its flopping over inside the heater box. Just need to see if its missing the white nylon clip I see on other models. Or is it one solid plastic peace. Thanks

Default INO help

Hi,
I'm new to this site after searching for help online and from auto part stores.I have replaced the compressor, both lines, and the dryer on my 1999 jeep cherokee classic.i still have non working air.i have air coming from the defrost vent only!I was wondering if y'all would happen to have some directions on getting the evaporator core fixed.I would greatly apprciate it.Louisiana heat and humidity sucks.

Welcome to CF. It's not outdated, just a long running thread that at times wasn't answered as fast as some would like.

I'm going to Tenn tomorrow morning (6-22) so if I don't answer for a while, go on CherokeeTech.com and ask for help.

Pepboys is telling me 8 hours worth of labor (upward of $1000 with parts) to replace the evaporator core in my 2001 Jeep Cherokee automatic XJ. Could someone send me the pages on how to do it, I would really appreciate it.

Hey ol"blue! I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.0L with a shot evaporator core. The rest of the AC system has been analyzed and I know this is the problem. Can you send me any info you have on the replacement procedure? Thank you so much in advance!
