The blower fan switch on the heater/ac bezel, below the radio.

 

Looking for A/C evaporator core replacement procedures for 2000 Cherokee XJ...and any tips/suggestions. I'll continue looking thru this thread. Thank you.

 

I would love to see the instructions for replacing the evaporator coil (99 Cherokee Classic)! I've also been told it all needs to come undone to get there (oh, and a cool grand...).

Hello all, I too am new to this site and found this thread through Google. My evaporator is also shot on my 01 XJ. With the way things are right now I can't shell out 1200 for the repair and would like to attempt it on my own. If you wouldn't mind Ol'Blue I would also like the write-up you have? Hey Guys I am new here just joined this forum little while ago to check out all of this very helpful info. I happened to run into the same prob with my AC and I need to take out the Evap.
