Could it be possible to get dash panel removal instructions and a diagram of what all connectors at the junction block (int. fuse box) go to? I would greatly appreciate it thank you for any help.

I got all of my stuff (evap + heater core + accumulater drier + refrig oil) at NAPA. I think all of that cost around $400.
(this was for a '94 GC)

I got it all pieced together. Found an OE Mopar evap. for $110 shipped on e-bay. $340 less than the dealer wanted.

Awesome. Over $400 was ridiculous for that piece. The heater core is optional, but if your system's been open for any length of time, you should definitely replace the drier, and taking out evap (and drier) means compensating with new refrig oil.

Im gonna hold off on the drier right now. Spent enough money in the past few months on my jeep.(over $4k). I have a friend that owns a shop and has a Robinair A/C machine that i can use whenever, so im not real worried if I have to replace the drier in the near future.

Will this give me enough room to pull my heater box out. This is as far as i made it last night and i just wanted to get some opinions before i bougt a steering wheel puller. The dash will pull out a few more inches than whats shown in this picture. But the steering wheel keeps it from coming out too far.

Default Evaporator needs replaced.

Hi Guys, I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee. I'm in the service and stationed in Germany. My AC has been leaking and two different mech's just scratched their heads. Finally I took it in to a well known shop and he told me it was the evaporator and it would be over 700 euro (over 1000 dollars). I cant spend that for the AC, so I'm going to attempt it myself. I have seen that there may be some instructions being passed here. If someone has a copy that can be sent to me, I would be very appreciative. I'm assuming I can remove and reploace the hardware and take it in to be charged after I install the new parts?
