Broken Window
It seems to be a common issue, but the driver side window on my 2000 Grand Cherokee suddenly stopped working. The window suddenly quit working for a couple hours, began working again for about a day, then stopped working forever. When I push the button it clicks, but I don't hear the motor doing anything at all. All of the other switches on the panel work. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Mechanical or electrical?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did the glass fall (slide down like it is not hooked to anything)? The regulator has a very weak link, there is a plastic part that the wire ties into, it fails quite frequently. You can purchase a complete (motor and regulator) at a local auto parts place for about $99. There are ways to "fix" the wire connection, but nothing I have tried.
