Default Air cooler unit not draining.

I have a 2001 grand Jeep Cherokee. The water coming of the cooling unit is not draining. I thought it might be the normal problem of drain away blocked into frame so cleaned that out but it's further up. In between the cooling radiator and blend doors below where the water drains away is a yellow plastic 1mm thin sheet that goes down into the gap. This has come away by the feel of it and I think blocked the drain away. Any one have any idea what this is. I really don't want to take the dash out again. Any feed back gratefully excepted.

I think you nailed it. Condensate drain is blocked. If you cannot clear it by poking something up the drain hole, you will probably have to take it apart

That's the bit I was trying to avoid. I was half thinking about putting a temp drain further up as it's an old car and won't have it much longer. Quite a few days work to take the dash out😭

This may be a help. One time in a junkyard when looking for something, I saw an emergency drain installed on a car, don't remember which, that the owner had drilled a hole in the bottom of the unit, installed a plastic fitting, and ran a hose out thru a hole in the floor. The hose was sealed in the floor with electricians putty but I'd recommend RTV silicone.
