I don't know much about the HVAC system, but what I do know is that it should be draining excess water from the drain tube when it is on, right? When I got this Jeep the A/C compressor would not engage. So, I filled it up with refrigerant and viola: super cold A/C. But I have noticed it is not draining. At the same time, it is not visibly overflowing into my passenger floorboard. Is this cause for concern, or does it only start dripping in really hot conditions or after extended use?

Blow the drain tube out, get what may be blocking the drain blown away. If there is enough water in the case, you will hear water splash from the blower motor.

I can easily do this as I have compressed air readily available. How would I go about doing this? I assume forcing air in from the drain end wouldn't be the right idea as it would just blow whatever's clogging it back up and not out.

Well, If you're lucky it will break it up enough that it will drain back out since there isn't any kind of screen or anything it there. Just don't to much pressure since it is plastic and I have seen several end up breaking off.

I myself wouldn't even want to try to find the inside. It's way in there I would guess. When mine got so when I'd make a right turn, water would slosh over onto my foot, I used a piece or trimmer line to push through the drain since I didn't have air at the time. If the humidity is low enough I wonder if it will even drip though. Been OK for 2-1/2 years...
