97 grand Cherokee that stops running?
my grand-daughter has a 97 grand Cherokee that stops running while driving and hard to start when it stops. I think its the crankshaft censor but not sure I am not a mechanic but know something how to fix.

Yeah, sounds to me like a failing crank sensor. When it shuts off, it's just like you turned off the key, right? No sputtering or bucking? Mine did that. Once it even restarted by itself while I was still rolling! My advise is to replace it with a Mopar part. The quality of aftermarket ones suck! They may work for a short while....They are a PITA to change so why do it more than once?
