46rh trans fluid question
So my ZJ is almost ready to drive, I got it running, cleaned it, etc..., all I have to do is top up the fluid in the transmission (46rh). Problem is, I don't know what type of fluid is in there right now. It is probably ATF+4, but it could be Dex/Merc, since I have no idea who last filled it. Should I just top it up with ATF+4 and hope for the best, or is there some way to figure out what type of fluid is in there? The color of the current fluid is fine, the level is just low. I swear it looks lighter (more pink) than the Dexron in my Sierra's 4L80E.
