Hi all. I have a 2005 Grand Cherokee Limited with the 5.7 Hemi. A year ago I started having shifting issues and ended up having the Solenoid in the transmission replaced which correct it. Fast forward a matter of months and I began to have the Tranmission over Temp pop up. I brought it back and was told that Jeep had issues with those solenoids and that taking it out and cleaning it might fix the issue which it did for a while. Several months back it came back but I was told I could ignore it as it was a false code so I did. 2 months ago it increased in how often it happened and began turning the fan on each time but then stopped for a while. Last week the display stated I needed to service the 4wd system and then yesterday I started the Jeep up and it went crazy. It began to cycle through "tramission over temp", "Electical Brake System Failure", "service 4wd system" and the check engine light as well as the traction control light came on. I pulled codes of P0404, U0101, U1411 and one of the codes was that it had lost communication with the TCM. I am not sure if I need to bring this thing back to the transmission shop or if something else is the root of the issue but it all seems to be related. When all this happened it locked down the brakes making it unable to move so I had it towed. After getting it home I messed around and pulled the fuse to disable to ABS so I can at least drive it to a shop. I don't want to waste money going to a transmission shop to only end up at the dealership later one. Has anyone else has all of this fail at the same time or have thoughts on if replacing the TCM will fix the overarching issues? Is it possible this is linked to the solenoid in the transmission?
