Question 2005 jeep grand cherokee tranny issues

first i would like to say hello to all on the board. I have this model with the 3.7. not even 2 years ago the tcm went out and the dealership replaced it and the transmission. well im currently having issues again. its slipping out of gear and sometimes it wont shift to overdrive. checked the codes and said transmission control system and incorrect gear ratio. I have done some research and it appears that it could be the input speed sensor. I bought the manual because i could not find the sensor. Are the transmissions for the 3.7 have the sensors located in another spot? I am baffled because i have seen other posts where it should be and the haynes manual concurs, but there are no sensors on the left side and on the right side doesnt appear to have them as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. i also wrote done numbers that i found on the transmission that were on a sticker.

Welcome to CF. When I the dealer replaced the trans in a ZJ I had, there was a 3/36,000 warranty. Yours should still be under warranty, and if so, take it back and make them fix it for free.

I was looking for info on your WA580 trans, and found this, but don't know if it will help your issue. >http://www.lxforums.com/board/f57/na...-wa580-302085/
His post has a link in the lower left corner, that is to a file. I'm not registered on that site, so I can't open it.
