Default 1997 grand Cherokee slow shift from 1st to 2nd

So lately my jeep has been acting strange. It shifts from 1st to 2nd slow. Like there's a little delay. RPMS Are normal. Just the slight delay. Also from 2nd to 3rd I get a really hard stutter shift. Not sure if this could be the TPS?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Try resetting the adjustment on your transmission throttle control cable.

This will cause this poor stuttering shifting?

Yes it will In fact I am finding myself setting mine back and forth one notch because the fall weather here can't make up it's mind if it wants to be warm or cold. The setting on these is very much too sensitive for my liking and I am currently experimenting to see if the bracket can be bent to make the adjustment a little less sensitive and more forgiving.
