Default 10 CD Changer

I have the OEM CD changer in my 02 GC. The vehicle was fitted with a Kenwood system upgrade that includes all the bells & whistles including TV reception which now can't get the new digital channels. I tried to find out if the CD changer worked, loaded the cartridge with a few CDs and pushed it in the changer. Nothing happened. It appears there is no power to the changer and I can't get the CD cartridge to eject. Is there a manual way to get the cartridge out of the changer?

If you have the original head unit, remove and unplug your aftermarket and then plug in the original. That should power up the cd changer. If the installer cut off the factory plugs(car side) then you can't plug in the original, you would then have to locate the turn on lead and give it 12V.
