I just changed the water pump but the temp gauge is registered a little high still. Normal is 210, but it gets to between 220-240 then drops back to 215-220. Hoses are good, previous owner destroyed fan relay system so fan is connected to battery. Any ideas of how to replace fan relay system and why it still runs hot after new water pump. Thanks for the help.

 

Check your thermostat, sometimes they don't open all of the way when they go bad. Are you running the 4.7 or 4.0?
