Default VADER build


So i have owned this jeep since 2011 and just now getting around to posting a build thread. It is pretty far along at the moment but want to show my work... will be mostly pictures not explanations, any questions about the build just ask

So here is the day i got it.

time to install the locker

remove brakes

remove axle shafts



remove steering


paint the crap and replace u joints


drain diff

remove diff

fix rust from too much fun and not enough care


remove spider gears


install locker



more paint stuff and axle seals



put it back together, steering was done in white glow in the dark paint along with steering stabilizer

best one i got of it at night... it was still drying. if light was shined on it for like 5 minutes it actually glowed pretty bright.

locker caught, ball joints broke, u joint broke, axle shaft broke... used a tractor to lift it out. removed the axle shaft and rested the knuckle on the remains of the ball joints. drove it like that to the front of the park and towed it home a week later.

swapped axles from donor jeep and reinstalled locker in new axle. quick fix (repaired axle and put it back in donor jeep over time)

trimmed and put 33x12.5x15 km2s on new 15x8 soft 8s... dont have any pictures at the moment of trimming process

new headlights

old left new right

new lights off

also swapped bumpers with my fathers jeep (he got new bumpers)

new lights on

big and little sitting pretty
