So i have owned this jeep since 2011 and just now getting around to posting a build thread. It is pretty far along at the moment but want to show my work... will be mostly pictures not explanations, any questions about the build just ask:) So here is the day i got it. |

https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...3d4b178463.jpg locker caught, ball joints broke, u joint broke, axle shaft broke... used a tractor to lift it out. removed the axle shaft and rested the knuckle on the remains of the ball joints. drove it like that to the front of the park and towed it home a week later. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...337c1832d9.jpg swapped axles from donor jeep and reinstalled locker in new axle. quick fix (repaired axle and put it back in donor jeep over time) |
