It is very easy to take them on and off. It's a matter of just picking it up, or sliding it down. I'm not running electrical so I don't have to worry about any wires. Makes it alot easier for me. My buddy did it this way too, and he loves it just as much as I do. Just make sure to follow the steps I listed. We did trial and error, so we could find the easiest way.

Got all my wires pulled and up to the front, so they won't be in the way while cutting. I also started making my back doors like the front where they will just lift off, and set on. Chopping will start in an hr or so.

Thank you. Yeah It's gonna be a week or two til I drive it cause I gotta get the rear cage built and everything so it has some rigidity. Right now I would tweak the unibody if I went crawling.

Sorry they are hard to see I will get better tomorrow, but I cut around the gas tank filler, trimmed some other small spots, drained my gas tank, narrowed the back end.

That one I never found a write up for so I kinda made my own, and just winged it. Basically you grind off the pin head, beat the pins out, find a bolt that goes into the hole, a nut for the other side. Wires you can leave disconnected or make a quick connect plug. Got a brief write up in my old build thread.
