Whoooo my old man decided to surprise me and went and got the welding tank filled! Looks like tomorrow afternoon I can get some work done on the jeep!
Not sure if you found all the trim pieces you needed for the 99 xj, but i recently removed all flares and the bumper caps from mine and they are all in perfect condition if you want them? Not really sure how easy to come by they are over there, but it might be worth it to have them shipped to you..

I wont need them, and at the moment they are just taking up space in my garage. So you make me an offer, allow around 15-20 for shipping and its a deal.
Im not too worried about what i get out of them, and not sure what they would cost if you managed to find a place that had all of them along with the mounting hardware, so whatever you think is reasonable is fine with me. Im just more concerned with shipping and packaging them properly so they dont get damaged.
All of the flares and the rear bumper caps are in great condition, but the front bumper caps fell victim to my fender chop, so about 2 inches of the flare is cut out. but i doubt it would be a problem, just cut the rest of the flare out and i doubt anyone would notice. And my jeep is the same Maroon color as your 99 is.

Not too much left to do now. I got extra pipe so I may do something else on there somewhere. I need to do a couple more welds, and some grinding, then she can get painted.

Good progress man. No tube bender? I saw these photos of a jeep on another forum and totally thought of your build. I figured you could use the jeep for ideas maybe. I like the way they did the fenders especially. Not so much the gas tank cover though it would be better if it was boxed off like the back of yours.

Yeah I have a tube bender at the shop, but it wouldn't bend the ERW. It kept crinkling it, giving flat spots, or smashing it. I will build a different cage down the road probably once I get a new bender. I have alot of time Into mine but only like $100 into material. I do really like those fenders on that guys jeep though.
