so with my engine on its way up, im giving a friend of mine my engine with a knock that gets worse week by week with 132k on it and $150 for his engine with 160k on it and will be doing a slight build on the new engine, iv already bought new gaskets and seals, upgraded fuel injecters from programbo here on CF, im also looking into getting an upgraded header and new exhaust system, bore out the throttle body and maybe a few other things to give me some more power and better idle, if anyone has any other upgrade suggestions feel free to lmk, i should also be installing my rear locker when i do the engine swap as me and time arnt getting along atm with me working 25-30 hours a week and taking 4 classes and a lab for school. i will try getting a pic of the parts before dropping them at my buddys whose doing the slight build to the new motor.

so i decided after putting all this money into the new engine why not protect it better then any other way i know how... with man's best friend. so i went out and ordered up myself a set of....

you guessed it! a fresh set of Brown Dog motor mounts!! super stoked for these bad boys to hold my engine tightly in place.
also had some time to start pulling my old engine apart... so ill leave it like this...
"all my milkshakes bring the boys to the yard, and im like damn right there better then yours."
but picture my jeep saying this not me as my milkshakes bring all the girls to the yard... alright alright enough im getting all caught up in my middle school memories. anyways...

and finally the most up to date pic i have of the rebuilt engine, enjoy this one and try keeping it in your pants everyone!!!!!! aahahah

thanks man, the black on white with the lime green accents really seperates my xj from most others, esp now with the lime and red engine. this thing is gonna stick out like a sore thumb!
thanks!! this project has been one of the biggest love/hate projects iv ever encountered. i even put the jeep up for sale this past fall when school and work started kicking my a$$ so bad i didnt have time or money for the jeep. then i bought a DD and now all is good in life again
