Awesome! One day I'll have a trail dedicated xj too. It's hard having the jeep always be the dd. Things would probably be alot different

Trust me night & day difference. I DD'd the xj for 2/3 years and now that I finally payed it off I decided time to buy a new DD n turn xj to my toy. Great idea/investment if you ask me.

so as the engine rebuild & spring get closer and closer i figure its time to start wrapping up some of my smaller projects as well. so i went out and ordered up myself a set of weld on D-ring tabs to mount to my Rustys stinger winch bumper, and also drew up a little design of the bar i want to add to the bumper to ****** my winch hook on, rather then using a D-ring itself.

thats just a basic design, idk if i want to add a small scope to the bar for looks or what. whats everyones opinion on where the bar should sit? higher then where i have it? or? thanks

Ordered up some JCR D-Ring mounts to weld to my Rustys stinger bumper. ANd finally decided where I'm going to mount the bar on my stinger that ill hook my winch hook too.

Also the AGR steering box i had to have rebuild finally showed up at my door

And finally got the engine bolted in and jeep started but air was being let into the intake somewhere thus when the jeep was sitting at idle the engine was revving like I was going 65. Ended up being a cracked intake manifold. Looks like another part to add to the rebuild parts list.

so in actions that led to Mcguyver_xj officially parting out his XJ i landed a few parts and hoping the GF decides to just replace her drum brakes thus letting me buy his rear disc break conversion. But anyways here is what i did land Rustys leaf spring reinforcement brackets (body side mount), HD offroad engineering Gen II shackle relocation brackets, and finally some front and rear extended bump stops which i badly needed. Enjoy!!

so now that everything is finally coming together i made what is hopefully my last purchase (pending issues with installation of all the new parts) till may/june. here are my latest additions from Performance Curve. i would like to give MudFrog a big Thanks for getting me the 5% CF discount and helping me with all my questions. first up is a high performance 2.5" catalyic converter, followed by a MagnaFlow muffler and 2.5" tailpipe.

so while i was and still am hoping not to make many more purchases for the XJ, the reality of it is that im still buying more parts as i wrap up this winters upgrades. So since my stock downpipe was in horrid condition i went out and bought myself a Walker OEM replacement down pipe to finish off everything ill need for my new exhuast setup. second as i noted earlier Mcguyver_XJ parted out his XJ, and 2 weeks later his GF got into an accident and totalled hers (shes sore but ok) leaving me his rear disc brake conversion, which i origionally planned on doing this summer but since i had everything i needed there for me now i figured it was a good time to add that to the project list. (sadly no pics of the brake parts) also went out and got some D44 Ubolts as there alot longer then your OEM 8.25 Ubolts and mine were pretty warped from all the wheeling iv done. and lastly i found a pic i forgot to put up of the AGR steering box outta the box lol. enjoy!

so after deciding to go the disc brake route for my 8.25 i started researching what i was gonna needa use for an ebrake cable for the disc brakes since my current xj cable wasnt a perfect match. i had read ways of double wrapping the xj cable but i didnt wanna go down that road and my research led me to the Morris 4x4 kit they offer. so i checked them out and they offer a cable specifically for the conversion. part number DBC-06
