Here is a pic of the bellhousings side by side.

The porch and level used for the straight edge are both perfectly level. There is exactly one inch difference between the two.

Plan for the evening is to continue cleanup.. I am going to start storing parts in the attic.. getting things out of my way so i can work on the install of the LS. I absolutely have to have the adapter first tho so that is the first tall order of business..

Wish me luck

Cooooool...
Ok you have the diffuser for the 4 barrel so i presume you will run a traditional LPG set.
This is a rough list of the parts you will need.
-Oversized reducer.
-15 ft of 6mm copper line
-8ft of 8mm copper line
-electro valve + filter
-2 Y junctions for cooling circuit
-lpg max flow screw valve
-At least a 20 gallon cylindrical bottle with sending unit that fits in place of the tank.
-Gas-LPG switch with 7wire harness, if you want to have it working with both like mine, otherwise a common switch to power the LPG valves.
HAVE FUN!!

I dont have any pics of the mixer i have. It looks like a holley carb. Comes with air cleaner and all.. I am running all braided lines.. I also have all the stuff from the truck.. The switch and all.. So i really dont need anything i dont think. I have a friend with a few extra fork lift tanks and mounts so i plan to use those. I am not planning to run a dual fuel setup, instead a dedicated propane setup. I think the mixer hat you have is for a dual fuel setup??

Thanks for the input, i have my work cut out for me but if everyone on here can keep me motivated i will get this one done..

PS i recently scrapped a 74 jeep CJ5 project that i was working on. I get bored with projects and just end up junking them. So everyone keep me going please, i wish to complete this one..

Thanks again.

The mixer (diffuser) is for a holley carb. You need a throttle body/carb underneath in order to make it work, maybe the one you have is one piece with the TB, could be.

Im trying to decide what all i absolutely have to keep of the under hood wiring.. I am looking to make it as absolutely clean and simple as possible so that if anything does happen i can easily identify the issue without having to dig tru a bunch of crap that doesnt work anyway..

So begins the head scratching.. Like i said i plan to clean up my current mess first then dig into that.. Look for pics of it all cleaned up inside. and for pics of the fuel tank removed and all its related crap removed too..

Will post tomorrow.. Bring on the feedback

Well tonight i didnt get anything done on the jeep. I looked at it.. Thats about it.. I managed to install a new attic ladder tho and while that makes no sense in and of itself it will allow me to get into the attic and store the parts that are currently in the way. I also got the garage cleaned up a little and started looking at all the large parts that i am not going to need anymore. Im loading up the scrap trailer tomorrow and there wont be any turning back after that.. Im going to scrap anything that doesnt serve a current purpose.. because if this project turns south im going to end up scrapping it out anyway. so i am making way for the parts i need and i shall sell anything anyone else needs.??

Well since i didnt post up any pics of the jeeps progress i will post up this.. Notice the chunk of missing drywall?? the previous owner decided to flip the direction of the ladder that was installed, when he did this he didnt add any sort of 2x4 header to support the stress that the pivot point of the ladder exerts on the ceiling joists.. I can only imagine the first time he climbed up there, got half way and fell to the ground with ladder in tow.. LOL The way he had it up there there was a 1x4 with a few staples holding it up that was trying to hold him. Needless to say when i bought the house there was only a hole..

Now there is this. I added a few extra 2x4s to each end and also added some steel angles into the actual truss and bolted it with 1/4" bolts thru the hinge/frame/2x4 and into the trusses.. Shouldnt go anywhere now

got bored today at work so i decided to keep myself busy with personal crap. I had some plate steel laying in my tool box so on my lunch break i made this.. I call it the mowmaster 40 series.. It is a scaled down Flowmaster muffler for my 8 horse Snapper Lawn Mower..

It started by me saying i wish i could find a larger but not huge muffler for the old snapper, it is just too loud with its puny little muffler.. So a friend at work said why not just make one.. I replied by saying if i were to take the time to do that i would make a flowmaster for it..

Here it is all welded up. 3/4 inch pipe bungs so i can hard plumb it to the head of the mower.. Just have to make a bracket to hold it and then paint it.. Thought about doing before and after videos and putting on youtube.. LOL

BTW this is my view daily, that is the latest and greatest 15 L Cummins 6 cylinder for on road semi truck use.. I work as an abuse test technician so it is litterally my job to tear things up on purpose!!!
