I wish that it were going to be that easy, but lets just say that selling the jeep and all its parts might pay the orkin man to come and treat the termites just to kill them,
Then i have to bust out the front porch and take out the block foundation for the porch, all of which is concrete, replace the header along the front of the house, take off all the siding, replace the damaged studs, build new door opening, then install a new door, which is around 2300 dollars by itself due to having two sidelights, then hopefully reinstall the siding and then dig new footer, install new porch foundation, then poor new slab on top of all of that...
Should be a good solid month work of hard labor, and thats if i have help, i am a diesel mechanic/ diesel engineer, not a carpenter..
My stuff is listed on the indy craigslist.. Take a look and shoot me an offer, it is also in the for sale adds..
MAKE AN OFFER NEED THE SPACE AND THE MONEY!!!
Sorry to let everyone down on this project.. By the way the oil pan wasnt going to clear the HP 30 axle, it was going to be much easier to buy the NOVAK mounts, and then it was still going to need floors, a lift, wheels and tires, a cage, driveshafts, and then who knows if the trans would have held up for long...
Just too much money to sink into a cherokee that is beat all to hell on the outside..

Sorry to hear about your house. If I lived an hour or 2 away I'd help you with your house.
i plan to lurk around on here.. keep up the contacts i really want to buy another one some day.. Seems i have sold the transmission, and the doors are going to be turned into half doors and such, so the parts will live on, and the adapter and LS1 are going to be used to power a Body dropped and bagged toyota Hilux that lays rocker on 22" wheels, it is a good friend of mine and he is going to buy me an LQ9 (new 6.0) engine for me to swap into my truck if it doesnt sell on ebay (search for 2007 GMC sierra) it is on there. Buy it!! I am trying to buy a Dodge cummins powered 6 speed 2wd truck, i work for them so it is a pride thing..

Also thanks for the kind words.. I wish i could have thrown this back on the inspector but it was just over a year since signing so he isnt liable..

Acually very simple way to fix your oil pan problem... and you got someone that can weld alluminum so you are set pretty much...DRY SUMP.... yes... go dry sump on that LS1...I did some quick googling on price wise and looks like oil pan is the biggest chunk of the money...Not only will you get alot more room... you will pull greater angles in jeep and not starve motor of oil..You are spending alot of time trying to do this right... so do it the best way...:} you will enjoy it more..And looks Great so far... and you will get 30 mpg LOL or better... show on tv other day... new 2010 vett.. twin turbo.. 720 hp .. and.... get this.............. 35 mpg....
GREAT JOB... I want pics of mounts...You do have summit and jegs mags right ? if not... ya need to go there website and have them send ya one for free... they are great bathroom dreaming books....
