Could you expand on that a little? Do you mean the axle was two inches to the right/left of center, so one of the front tires extended beyond the fender flare?

The axle sits to the driver side too much cause the stock track bar is to short and pulls the axle cause of it

Yes, the track bar runs from the left side of the unibody to the right side of the axle. When you lift an XJ you increase that angle and the trackbar becomes too short. With the wheels on the ground it's not as noticeable. When you lift the front end off the ground you will see the your left tire sticks out further than your right.

4' Firestik got here fast. Now I have to figure out a mounting setup. Also have rear brake shoes and bumpstops laying around, I should really get that stuff done.

I have a feeling it will be less swear words doing the conversion. I got one of Big David's kits waiting for me in a box. All I need to do is get new rotors and pads I believe, but I've been thinking of replacing all the axle seals while I'm in there too. Oh, and some diff fluid...

I also need to get some dremel stones for dremeling out the backing plate. I've been thinking about a diff cover as well, but they are pretty expensive and the factory ones seem beefier than I originally thought.
