hey guys I think I may have found my new axles!!
They're axles out of a 1981 j10 truck
Widetrack front Dana 44
* Drivers side differential
* Manual locking hubs
* complete with calipers, pads, drag link, and tie rod
* 65 inches wms to wms
AMC 20 HD rear axle
* Centered differential
* Complete drum to drum
* Includes emergency brake cables
* 67 inches wide
* This is NOT the amc 20 used in the CJ's which was poorly built. These are one piece shafts, thick tube and axle shaft design, and have a ring and pinion that is even larger than a dana 44!
Would this be a good buy for 300?

Seems like a good buy. It would take a little bit of your turning radius off with the rear being wider than the front.Originally Posted by JuicyJuice4x4

I would see if the d44 front has a vacuum disco in it.

Ok I'll ask the guy about that. Thanks!
Ok so I bought an argon tank today and I've realized that I'd rather use flux!! Is it supposed to be so much harder to get an arc going? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I'm using a Northern Industrial mig 125 anyone got any pointers?
