Default Project Military Cherokee Revamped!

Some of you may have seen my build "Project Military Cherokee". Well now I've decided to change my plans. Instead of doing a military cherokee I plan on doing a Dixie Cherokee. Here's this build-

First day I got her-

Stock Pioneer with 31 Dunlop MudRovers that were like drag slicks 4wd barely worked and I got stuck in about an inch deep of water in a creek because I didnt know the 4wd didnt work. Had a D30 front and D35 rear, had 270,000 miles on it and ran like a champ and i paid 300 for it. Exhaust was so loud that when I took it to the exhaust shop it was louder than a v8 durango with dual flowmasters.

Fixed the 4wd and put some brand new 235/75/r15 BFG M/Ts and got this

Then I added a 4 1/2in Rough Country lift with full leafs in the back with RE LCAs and also a welded Ford 8.8 with 3.73s and I put some stronger hubs on my D30 with 3.55s. And it sat like this-

This is how she sits now-
-33 Procomp Mts
-Trimmed fenders
-Custom front bumper
-Removable doors
-Red diff covers
-333,000 miles
-push button ignition
-rock lights
-custom switch panel
-posi lock
-painted the wheels
-new seat covers
-pretty good sound system

Here are the future plans in picture form (got bored in calculus. only 18 and in high school and building this all by myself)-

In word form-
-Chop top with soft top
-Interior roll cage
-Tubed bumpers and fenders
-Tube doors
-Camaro seats with 5 point harnesses
-D60 front
-14 bolt rear
-4 link rear
-3 link front
-Coilovers
-40's

you get the jist

Recently bought this to help me build. Im only using Flux Core right now which kinda sucks

Well i'll upload as I continue building. Let me know yall's opinions and feedback

If 110v is your only option then flux core is the way to go for penatration. Flux penatrates better than gas sheilding. Just hard to make look as good. PRACTICE

Thats what i was just about to ask.... that would tare your transfercase apart, there is a little room for difference in the axle but not that much.....

It's such a minimal differnce in gears that as long as I don't go 50 in 4wd it's fine. When funds are good I'll do 4.56's but I'm about to graduateand will be attending th University of Georgia so money will be tight.

Z wiz- ya being in high school limits a lot, but I make due. And if you look hard enough at some of my pictrs you can see some of the horns haha

Right now I'm sittin in calculus bored so I figured I'd tell y'all what I did this morning at 5am.

I installed a tow bar to use for close tows behind my new 2000 dodge ram 1500.
Also installed new alternator and replaced tranny line that goes into the radiator. And I welded some light mounts onto my front bumper. Decided to take it out today and show off my doorless mod to all the wannabe wrangler drivers at my school. It's 81 degrees and they all have their top and doors ON. Can't wait to do the chop top next weekend or the weekend after. Anyone have advice for the chop top?

Anyways I'll post pics when I get home tonight

minimal acceptable difference in gear sets would be something like 3.55 up front and 3.54 in the rear.

3.73 and 3.55 is like running 33's on the front and 31's on the rear. or 4.09, 4.10, 4.11 etc.

good luck with that.

as for your drawing, i drew almost the exact same thing when i got my first xj. i was gonna make humvee style doors too. i used to make the tarp side humvee kits for a company here in canada.
