what do the ends look like?
So last night me and my buddy FINALLY got his dad's old mud race truck's trailer out of the bushes, its been sitting about 14 years, and surprisingly it is in AMAZING condition so once we get it fixed up we'll have a trailer for my jeep and our drag car Well I'm leaving for Mountainside in about 8 hours and here is the list of things to do..
1. Replace passenger side headlight
2. Install new starter
3. Find new tires for this trailer or find another trailer
4. Fix rock lights
5. Fix speakers (only one speaker actually works)
6. Pack up

you need to have someone with a 220 welder do the axle perches and mounts for you...you're not even getting near hot enough to weld those.
that, or preheat the area with a torch to red hot and immediately follow with a pass from the welder, and do not quench it.
I like the project, but why aren't you cleaning up the welds more? those tail light boxes don't look so hot with the spackle-welds all over them

Also, I have only been welding since April and I cant afford a 220 or know anyone with one. Im working on them, I know they look like ****, im trying my best. And just so you know, the perches may look like **** but theyre strong as hell. And sorry my light boxes arent pretty, but theyre strong and I can run them into trees and they wont break

it was constructive criticism.
and no, you did not get enough penetration on those perches. period. not even close to strong enough, because you probably did not preheat the steel, and fact of the matter is a 120v does not get hot enough to penetrate that thick of steel.
your welds don't look terrible on the perches, but they didn't penetrate...as stated, looks like it was too cold.
I'm not saying this to be mean, saying this to help.

Well here's a tiny bit of an update
Ill try to get a video of it later today. Waiting on my Ballistic Fab coil/shock/link combo brackets to get here so I can get them on the 44 then its time to put them under the jeep
