Nah, I wouldn't say they are too bright. If everything was white, I wouldn't mind it at all. But having a gunmetal XJ, I figure blue would work best. I think you'll be happy with the white.

P.S. sweet fire place! Get much use out of it in NM?

Like I said, time to find another gear and get this thing done. This may be the weekend for stiffeners/3 link now. As for 37s, I actually predicted that would happen which is also another reason I lowered it down to 4.5". At 5.5" I know I for sure would've changed my mind and swapped for 37s. I think 35s will be perfect at this height even with Notch flares.

And thanks, I actually use the fireplace every chance I get once late fall/winter rolls around. Actually had some pretty cold days/heavy snow last winter

Greased up and added some anti-seize

And done. Pretty simple process as long as everything isn't rusted.

So glad you asked this question.

Peligro, so happy you posted the link. I'm gonna order one up myself. In need of a quality torque wrench. Just wish it would have been yesterday so I could have had it in for this weekend.

Lovin the progress! Hope you're able to get the stiffeners and 3-link in!

I have a 250lb Tekton torque wrench from Amazon and I love it!

Edit: and the matching Tekton 36mm impact socket!

That's the one I was probably going to buy just because it's well priced and has tons of great reviews

Excellent progress sir.

Are you just doing mids, or front and rears as well?

Also, when I did my hubs, I borrowed a torque wrench from work that goes up to 750' lbs....lol, king of overkill, haha!!!

Probably long enough to set a freshly hatched chick on the end and get 170ftlbs exactly!
