I love that one as well. Gotta go color match on Notch flares for sure. That one is actually 4.5" on 35" MTRs so exact same set up I am doing.

The flat flares are super nice too though. My buddy just installed a set on his XJ not too long ago.

That's a good looking xj. I went with the Napier flat flares as they don't stick out as far as the bushwakers. I'm at 4.5" lift and 35s also

Yeah, the flat flares are great! Notch Custom flares are nice, but they open up the wheel well too much for my taste. Still like the look though!

I was planning on going with Napier but the front flares sit so much higher than the rear. That's inevitable, but they sit higher in the front than the BW's.

Either way, these are all super nice XJ's! Can't wait until I have a little more taken care of. Then I can start thinking about regearing and getting my 33's. Although you guys are making me want 35's!

Napier makes good stuff, that's what I had on here before. Very nice XJ btw

If you're regearing and already thinking about 35s then might as well gear for it. 33s are a great size though. FYI on that blue XJ I just posted those are just 33s

How much lift is he running? That's pretty much exactly what I'm going for. Does he have a build here? I'd like to see more.

35's are tempting, but 33's should be plenty for my needs and what I use my XJ for. I'll think about 35's after I kill these 31's and a set of 33's.

No build thread. It's a 5.5" IRO lift on 33" MTRS. Here's a couple more shots. Looks great, but keep in mind MTRs are true to size which is why they look so good. Another company's "33s" might actually be 31s.

He's got a nice rig! Little higher than I originally thought, but still nice!

How do you like the MTR's? They look great, but I do a lot of highway driving. I wouldn't mind them wearing faster, but I feel like they gotta be a ***** to keep balanced.

Wasn't able to get too much done today, but any progress is good progress. Finished doing a flush of the brake fluid and currently in between coats of paint and primer on all the bare metal stuff - armor, sliders, SRBs, leaf spring plates etc.

I love em, but I've never had them on a daily. I have done a fair amount of highway driving on mtrs and never noticed anything unusual. My buddy's is a daily and he'll actually be here this weekend to help work on Mercenary so I'll ask him.

Just saw this on Notch's Instagram. Not sure how my order placed several months ago is in the last batch but at least they are coming finally!

3D printed switch panel for factory style switches via wizardpc. Now I just need the switches.

Was able to get some work done this weekend. Installed the no lift SRBs as well as the new leaf springs.

I'm relatively sure my neighbors hate me.

This probably took the longest to remove. Those bolts were rusted in good plus I couldn't find the one socket I needed. Ended up just heading to buy another

Out with the old, in with the new

New springs installed and the new shackle angle. Don't worry lines won't stay exposed. Haven't done the final torque yet. One of the nut strips was pretty beat so I'm having a couple more shipped this week to swap both out. Plus I wanted to paint the gas tank skid anyways and it also needs some modification to fit.
