sgtskid, back on page 5, you have some pics of you wheeling. What size lift & tires are you running there?

I'm building a camping/family/daily driver & can't decide between the RC 4.5" LA or a 6.5" RC LA kit. I'll be running 33x10.5's no matter what cause everyone has 12.5's & I don't want 35's as a daily lol..

Do you mean page 4? The pictures above? That is a RC 6.5 LA with 33x9.50 bfg km1. I still have the same lift with bumpers and 33x1050s

Finally I got some pics of the new bumpers. They were designed by me but fabbed up by a buddy, Joe. He did skunkape's bumpers as well.

They are tuff! Took them out a couple of weeks ago and hit up some trails at Windrock. Definitely used them up against some rocks in the creek beds

I know right. Thats what pulling stumps will do. I also still haven't figured out the overheating problem. Which will come after the springs.

Bumper is long gone man. Needed to trim the fat. Sold both the front and rear bumper to the same guy. He is a mail carrier and was hit head on in his old jeep so he wanted a little beef in case in happened again in his new one.

Thanks Jake,

Just heard back from Knoxville Spring Service. The springs can be repaired and they are going to add a heavier leaf in it to keep them from wrapping under load or squatting while towing. Lawrence, the owner, said it would make my jeep ride like a freight train......like it doesn't already.

They should have the springs done by the end of the week and ready for when I get back from vacation......now the next hard part....trying to find the time to install them.

Kenny? You up for an install, I know you should be able to do them blind folded..

Hopefully when I get the springs back I'll be able to pull this trailer without it looking like this. On a brighter side, the bumper is very strong!

Thumbs up

Got the springs back and installed today!

Can't thank Skunk and James enough for the extra hands and emergency tools when unexpected problems arose. The only downside is I now owe James a hand with a dana 60 swap and Skunk....well. lol

Here is a pic of the new springs.

They are pretty beefy. Definitely won't have the same problem again!! I also gained about 1-1.5" of lift....I now need some spacers for the front if anyone has an extra set laying around.

I will get pics of the jeep soon
