Finally got around to finishing up my exhaust with a thrush pro cat back exhaust system. Had to fix the po's previous setup which was everything up to the crossmember and then cut and nothing from there... Gotta fab up some hangers, but I'm now running headers with 2.25" pipe to a 2.5" thrush pro with a 3" dump. Also took some measurements for finishing up the sliders and starting up the long travel/ rear shock cage setup

Well tonight went a lil like this. Come home from work, planned on getting the rear end done, 1am rolls around and i finally have one side done. Ok, time to move onto the other side, heat the 1 bolt that's never been removed and break the only socket I have in that size and the socket I need... So I've got 1/4 of the lift done currently. Gonna pick up another socket and some spares tomorrow and see if I can't break it loose and get the other side done

Buy a Craftsman socket, they're cheap and you can replace it for free as many times as you want. You ever get it running?

I'll have to grab a few! And not yet, the distributor I bought wasn't in good operating order so I'll have to take it back under warranty and to top it off the starter went out.. So I gotta grab a new one of them too. so fingers crossed that once those are all replaced, it'll fire up. My friend who has built and mapped a ton of motors is pretty confident it'll start after he came over to give me a hand, so Imma trust him and hope for the best haha!

Any of you fellow Alaskans got a spare front shaft lying around? Got a buddy looking for one and can't seem to turn one up through my usual sources

You'll see plenty more once I get to take her out to test the long arms and long travel shocks in the back end once she's finally running its time for her maiden voyage to a trail I've yet to try

Finally popped the bolt loose! I guess 23 years of never being removed makes it difficult to take out... Lol and a lil comparison shock wise, what came out and what's going in. Fully adjustable coil overs. Lift should be done by Thursday and heep should be running by Friday for a weekend run to test everything out

If it's not one thing it's another i suppose. Got the bolt loose only to have it get caught up in the bushing... So Imma have to dissect the old leaf tomorrow and try to get it out on a side note, put the bar pin eliminators the kit came with and got the tops of the coil overs in place. I'll have to cut off the old mounting to the axle and fab up new shock mounting to eliminate the pin and use a bolt instead. It'll be a pain but better off in the long run

For now yes. Eventually I'm going to swap in a 9" rear and probably 4 link it with a d44 up front
