I got it from orilleys, but from reading I think it may have been the wrong choice lol... Might just replace it with a dealership cps

9 times out of 10, you will get a bad one from places like that and auto zone. People recommend a dealer only part.

Yea that's what I've been reading.. I might try one more parts store cps and if it doesn't work I can always return it and go dealership. It's a lot easier for me to go to the parts store down the road, than to make the trek into town and hopefully get one the same day haha

Its worth a try. Its a little bit more pricey but if it works than I think it saved you a ton at a shop. If not, maybe you can return it

I think Imma pull out the ohms meter first and test it before I make my choice tho. If it reads good, I'll take it to the shop. If it reads bad, I'll replace it. So we'll see what the meter determines i suppose haha

A buddy and I went through 4 part store CPS before buying one from a dealership. All 4 of the sensors were bad. Put in the Mopar sensor and it cranked right up and purred. We didn't believe that the chances of having 4 bad sensors right out of the box was possible but I'm now a firm believer that when it comes to the CPS and CMS, you must buy Mopar sensors.

Huh? The coil isn't in the distributor.

Still gotta test the cps to ensure that it works, but I believe I may have found the culprit... Looks like I'm dropping the trans and swapping in a HO fly wheel

Picking up the proper fly wheel hopefully tomorrow if a shop has one... Ordered part of my 1 ton cross over steering I'll be building. Depending on how easy dropping the trans goes, she should be back on the road sometime mid next week!

Managed to snag one of the last ones in the state of AK.. gonna drop the trans here probably after Christmas, swap this out and hopefully be up and running before or at New Years. Then it's time to dial in suspension and everything else and we are good to go
