Trans and tcase dropped enough to get to the flywheel. Clutch and pressure plate pulled off, now to figuring out how I'm gonna snap the fly wheel bolts loose haha

Methinks you should get it running first.

You know? The flywheel NEVER occurred to me.
Watch, you'll put it in, get everything bolted back up, and it'll crank about 2 seconds and fire like it's been running all day.

Never occurred to me either... Every bit of info the parts store lists says there is no difference. What they don't tell you is the difference is in the part the cps uses to relay spark to the motor. And it should. I've got great fuel pressure and I have air, just no spark. The part that kills me is I could've saved ALOT of money if I had remember to swap the flywheels while I still had both blocks

I guess I should really finish my steering box up.

A couple of use may hit up Kings River or Buffalo Mine instead of Knik on the 2nd. Warm temps they are calling for doesn't give me he warm and fuzzy after issues guys had last year.

Get on it! I've got 3 days off after Monday, so Imma get it buttoned up tomorrow morning before work see if it starts (which it should) and then make a few shake down runs before I take it out for a real run haha. Judging by how different the fly wheels looked, that would seem to be the problem tho

All back together. Still not getting spark, so Imma trace it back starting at the plugs through to the icm and then the cps aswell. After that I might open up the computer and see if it's not fried

Those connectors are bare metal and close enough to arc. I suggest insulated connectors or heat shrink.

Did you replace that very dead battery and not just charge it?
Also, do you plan on cutting off the lower control arm mounts? Looks like they will interfere with the longarms.

I'll have to look for some of those heat shrink ones and swap em out. And the battery in it now is new, but the jeep sat outside in the cold for a few days before pushing it back in and needs a charge. As for the mounts, the drivers side is cut off I just haven't had time to cut the passeger since I'm working on getting it running again

Update on spark, it's there, but it's an orange spark rather than blue. The plugs weren't gapped properly either. So it's getting spark, but it's weak. I'll have to test the cps to make sure it's within spec. Could the computer not having been reset make a difference? Or is there something else I should look for..

Check your coil. Are the grounds all clean and tight?

I need to run it back all the way to the icm to see where the bad spark is originating from. All the grounds are new, only thing that may be causing the problem is the way the HO icm is mounted to the renix motor
