Thanks! And I wouldn't trade it for the world! And I've lived in some pretty cool places growing up as a military kid, so that says just a lil haha

Id say it's about 90% done.. Starter needs to get bolted up as well as the throttle positioning sensor. Ran into another problem with the alternator... In the mad dash to get the old motor out and the new one in I carelessly forgot to pull the bracket off for the newer style alternator
soooo looks like I'm gonna have to start searching like a mad man for the HO alternator bracket as the renix motor doesn't have the same mounting style... It's a good learning experience however, not the best job but for my first motor swap it's a good start

So after having to replace the oil pressure sender and having a chat with the guys at the parts store in regards to my alternator situation, found out if I wanna keep the HO wiring I'll have to find the correct bracket. Little set back, but what can ya do. Tried cranking her over today and nothing. Battery was dead haha... Charged it up, tried again and still nothing. Gonna test the starter to see if it's the culprit then it's onto all grounds and wiring. Hopefully I can get her up and running soon, major withdrawals!! -_- on a side note finishing paint tonight and also welded the stinger back on to the soon to be winch bumper

Here's what the final paint will look like. Finally got around to sanding down the bondo so it was flush and looks as though there wasn't a hoop and supports welded in
rhino lined the bottom half up to the pin stripe and then from the rear doors all the way back. It's still a work in progress but it'll definitely hold up to whatever may want to scratch my paint!

Was able to track down the bracket I needed hiding under the hood of the only HO jeep motor the junk yard had
pretty stoked on that. Hooked up the heep to paws truck to see if we could get her to roll over since my battery is beyond dead and needs to be replaced. However, while the motor cranked it didn't wanna start. Thinking I might have an air bubble in the fuel lines, or I'm not getting spark from the plugs. Imma start by replacing the battery and wires (as the plugs are new) and see what we get from there!

Traced the problem down to no spark, as we were able to smell fuel while trying to start her up. Gonna try going with an upgraded coil and performance wires in the hopes that she'll start! She's getting close and I can't wait!

Kinda hoping the heep would be running before the first snowfall... But if all goes well and it's just an issue with spark, she'll be ready to go tomorrow if I have time for a parts run

Parts list just keeps stacking up.. Got it narrowed down to the cps or the pickup coil. My monies on the pickup coil since it started to crank a lil better after new ignition coil and wires. Also picked up some plate steel to fab up some flat fenders to help combat any tickets for not having any tire in any of my wheel wells..
