after some research i learned that chevy had a 241 drivers side drop 32spline which the TH400 from the military blazers also ran the 32 spline... they were in 88-90 1/2 ton chevys... 88 to unknown 3/4 tone chevys and i think it was 92 to unknown 1 ton chevys with the TH400 tranny... so now im gonna be on the look out for one of these... will be much cheaper then a TH400 to 231 adapter... and the gearing in the 241 is much lower and from what ive read better then the 231 anyways... oh and its the IFS chevys...

lol... i know it... im gonna run 4.88's... i read up on what the military blazers run with 37's... lol... but thats with the 208 transfer case they come with... not sure how the 2 are geared compared to each other... but i think 4.88's will be fine... my master tech when i worked at nissan will probly hook me up on installing them... good thing i kept in touch and on his good side... lol... the 9in is easy cause all the gears stay on the cover basically so i dont have to take a whole axle to him... can just stick it in the trunk and go... lol... ill try and talk him into swapping gear install work for my handyman business and do some repairs at his house and just swap labor... that would be great!! lol... found this in my mailbox this morning... boy is this stuff beef... never though it was this beef... im glad i got it and not the eBay elcheapo china setups

well yesterday i got my bastard pack stuck together and my rear axle lined up... boy was that fun... as for measurements i got alittle over 2in from frame to spring but the spring pack is beefy now and no sagging... so with weight on wheels im sure i got the amount of lift needed... if not i can add some more or whatever... i went with the XJ main leaf and S-10 main leaf down... as for welding on the perches it didnt go so well... lol... the shops like 100 yards from the house (buddies place) and we have to run cords all the way out there... i just wanted to tack them on and weld them fully when i got it back to my house... but even the tacks didnt hold up... lol... bumpin around in the back of my truck was all it took... but it left marks and i can line it back up... so itll be good to go... just gonna take some more time...
