DANG IT!!!! a surbuban with the 6.2 and 6.5turbo conversion already done just came up on eBay 1.5 hours away for $800... if i hadnt gotten that dang brush guard i could have gotten it!!! dang it dang it DANG IT!!!

 

damn im pissed... im gonna figure something out... lol... i got too...

 

just remembered a guy is suppose to come sat to get my tranny and stuff for $400... then ive got a buddy that wants the brush guard he says if he does deside to get it he will get paid thur... auction ends in 5 days... nobodies bid at $800 starting and buy it now at $1500... but im not to worried as who wants a 2x4 suburban... lol... oh crap... its 2x4... thats not a tranny i can use... but i still could part it out and make my money back on the motor... and buy another trannys elsewhere as TH400's are a dime a dozen...

 

and it gives me the battery, radiator, starter, stuff like that ill need

yeah... itll all work out one way or nother huh... lol... was just thinking if i would come out better trying to find one in a JY for $100 and rebuilding it myself with the replacement of known flawed parts... wonder if ill come out about the same moneys... maybe alittle more but a better motor... so many options... so much time to figure them out... lol...

 

didnt get to do anything today... maybe tomorrow or friday... only cheap free stuff though as funds are alittle low now... gotta sell this dang brushguard... lol... i did send some time yesterday dropping my tranny... its all out... weight on jack... but gotta get the dang thing to let go from the motor... wife called and said dinner was ready at this point (go figure) and i had to leave it... "cause if i slave over dinner you better put down the damn wrench and get your butt home"... lol

 

I just have my wife bring dinner to me, she usually even brings hers and "Helps" (Helps=Watch and criticize everything I do until I tell her to go inside)

 

LOL... she probly would do that but the shop my Jeep is in is 10min away... I'm to poor to build one... LOL... it was her uncles 3 stall behind his house... he had a body shop in town... 12 foot roll up doors and 2 cars deep shop... its nice... I want one... but then again the families just happy someones using it so it saves me the money... LOL...

 

Thats way awesome, I wish I had a real shop to work in, would be a lot better than being under a tarp at the curb working on stuff.

 

yep sooooo the wifes knocked up... and yes im the daddy... no maury crap here... but should be interestin how this build goes... may take alittle longer but im gonna do it one way or another... what good is a jeep to me sittin on blocks right? just means i need to buy the expensive stuff NOW! lol...

 

Well thats good news in more ways than one... First you'll have a kid. Second, you'll be getting this build dome in the next 6ish months and Lastly you get to buy the expensive stuff now... before you don't have a chance to...

 

yep...i found another guy with a 6.2 but he doesnt know the milage for $400... except i just realised i deleted his email last night so i need to try and find it... lol...
