lol sorry... been a minute... im trying to get the MJ road worthy at the moment and been trying to get things lined up for the new job and such... it came just in time as my business is dead and money is low... plus school it coming to a end the first week of June so im prety busy... i did get the motor pulled Thur since someone is suppose to come get it Tue... but that money will go towards a transfer case and front axle for the MJ now... but if yall remember back i put a motor in a WJ and turn around and sold it? made like a $3200 profit? well $2300 went to a box van i got for working out of... since i no longer need it its now up for sale... but i got a deal on it so right now im trying to sell for $4k and of course will come off that a bit... but when it sales its going to provide the money to get the cherokee back on the road with the new 6.2... ive also plan to try and buy a 6.2 from the military auction (most go for $150) and buy the junk 6.2 in the junkyard with the serpentine setup... swap it over and be ready to roll... either this or i may buy the OTHER 6.2 Vbelt motor from a suburban in the JY for $50 and rebuilt it myself with some goodies... ive never rebuilt a motor before and ive always wanted to... i just want to make sure its going to be my motor and not someone elses... but who knows... i may save my first rebuild for the MJ... I dunno... we will see... which ever works out best... finding a TH400 and a 241 transfercase is the easy part... deciding which road to take on the motor should be the fun part... what would yall do?? i also still have the option of the 6.2/th400 combo with 13k original miles... but itll be over a thousand bucks probly... may in the long run be the most frugal bet... either way this whole suspension and drivetrain will still be done with wheeling and dealing of jeeps and jeep parts... so NO money out of pocket...

also i was finally able to sell the brushguard and i got $300 for it... so i got a warn 9000 for $300... cant beat that... although this was of my own money i think... not anything to do with my "seperate" jeepin money... but you gotta pitch in every so often to make things work... lol

well i picked up the D44 rebuild kit i found for $100 and the 9in disc brake brackets... i also found last night a guy selling upper link brackets from ruffstuff and a adjustable trac bar bracket from ruff stuff for the axle side... offered $75 shipped for it all and he took it... so it should be on the way shortly for the front axle... the link brackets were $35 each and the trac bar bracket was $30 on ruff stuffs web site plus shipping so i done good there too... little by little... i am going to start shopping again for a 6.2... probly get one complete off govliquidation and just drop it in... if i need more power or something later ill worry about it then... but most go for only $150 so i cant turn that down... just takes alittle internet magic...

Naw it was on pirate... I find a lot on there... always two pages of "today" items... I missed a cross member with the long arm setup for a Xj for like $75 or something... all cause I forgot to look one day on there... the last few things I got was from pirate... folks deciding not to use what they had...

well i broke down and went ahead and got the 5.14 gears... couldnt beat the price... $125 shipped is pretty dang good... so not all i need is a install kit for the 9in and ill be able to have a buddy stick it all back together... buy my calipers and brakes for the disc conversion which is nothing compared to the rest of it... and get it installed... then i can start on the front... where it looks so far all i need well uh... i started listing things but looks like i pretty much need everything other then the install kit... lol... from ball joints to spring perches to replacing the worn warn lockin hubs... lol...

What I have found to install the front axle, (I don't know if you are just going to make the brackets)
http://tntcustoms.com/front.aspx
they also have a nice set up to install the rear
http://tntcustoms.com/u-bolteliminiators.aspx
I just know that with my axle swap these were a godsend the front is really set it on... and burn it in. and the rear makes playing with the u-bolts no more.

I really like Ruff Stuff for there products and prices... probly use there stuff only... only other brackets i may need are shock tabs and coil buckets... ive got everything else... also want Ruff Stuff diff cover for the front... the rear i already have the brackets welded on the 9in to fit... they came from ruff stuff also from a vendor on here... the axle swap kit... BEEF as you can get man... $120 for the perches and shock tabs aint bad at all... came with massive u bolts and the long u bolt nuts... all there stuff is made of thick frickin metal... loves it...
