Talking Project DD Charlie (first jeep, slow progress)

So small back story on my jeep and myself, im 21 and this is my first jeep! Its a 1998 jeep cherokee limited normal jeep stuff D30 AW4 D35 242 etc. Im learning alot and im reall excited to get to the same point as some of you guys! I got the jeep in the spring time about a week before i got laid off from walmart logistics since then I found a crapp job and im loving it! Ive been picking up parts when I can...being out of work for half a year racks up some pretty big bills.. It needs lots; all TRE's, draglink, trac bar, ball joints and leafs in the back. A hefty list that keeps getting added to I dont daily it yet as i work nights so i get to use the family beater untill the jeep is ready! The plan for it is to repair the problem areas and get it certified! After that im aiming for a 3-3.5 skyjacker or RE lift kit black rock D windows 5x15 with the correct B.S rock sliders, a rear bumper and I want to trim down the stock front bumper and build off of it! Enough typing.. I know all people want is pictures anyways!

This was the first picture i took of it with the hella illegal plates on it from the car I traded for the jeep!

About 2 weeks later i got tired of the plastics so off they went, ive since decided to somehow affix the flares as i like the look a bit better. Ive fallen in love with it at this point!

And it snowed about 7 inches last night... This sucker is TOO much fun in the snow!

Thanks! I loved reading through your build! Gave me a few ideas! Since ive gotten the jeep ive; repaired the rust on the driver floor, both front axle u joints, repaited the engine skid, oil change, rad flush and coolant, re greased all the tre's and the caliper slide pins, dowstream 02 sensor, and it came with a stainless header and a nice stud snapped off in the head that i need to get out UGH. Oh well i currently have the left and right tre, sway bar links, an the friction modifier to swap the rear diff fluid! Ill hopefully have front pads and rotors this weekend!

Pulled the rear diff cover only to find a Limited Slip D35... Not stoked -_- before a quick cleaning and wire wheeling it looked like a 3D model of some mountains

Oops, I forgot about this a bit...since my last post I've done all the tie rod ends and leaf springs..what a job that was...

It's sitting really low in the front..oops

The alignment is still off but I'm getting my new front springs, all 4 shocks, all the u joints, and front brakes on the next pay. I'll try my best to align it myself but I will still take it to be checked over, it needs to go for its safety soon anyways as the laws are going to get a bit harsher in Ontario this June..just what I needed. Thanks to everyone who watches this! There's more to come
