Jeep truck build
I sold this to buy/build this
Decided to do a build thread because my comanche is going under some big changes ...
Started life as a 2wd auto 4cyl
From Vermont I drove 6 hours to get this truck because it WAS in great shape ... Well yeah you no how that goes ...
How she has been sitting for a while now
it's now 4.0-ax15-np231-d44-hpd30... 3 inch coils 2 inch spacers soa in the *** end 33's just been getting it running right and having fun with it ... What the big changes are that I'm doing well have planned are long arms , 35's , some armor and fix what I don't like ... Any criticism is welcomed I don't give a fack

Since the truck was only 2 wheel I need to make a t-case selector . I always had problems with the factory shifters popping out so I decided to fab my own
This is what a factory tcase shifter looks like for those who don't no
Here is what I came up with ...
On the tcase I flipped and cut the selector arm in half and added an inch so it would have enough throw without issues
Figured I'd throw a ruler up just incase someone wants to do this on there own
Here you can see the tcase selector cut ,flipped, and added to
This is the style hiem joint I'm using so under unibody flex nothing pops out grinds or that nonsense plus they were about 5 bucks a piece at my local hardware store
Here is the bottom of the floor board
Don't mind the screws it's holding it in place while I replace one by one with a welded nut under the floor board so this all bolts together
Here is what it looks like inside the truck
And all together underneath

Fixed the leaky rear main seal
Got the front end stripped down
Long arms came in! I went with iro because josh has the best customer service out there and is always there when I need him I highly suggest doing business with them...
Steering parts came in , I went with ruffstuff hiems well because you can't break them everything is over kill
Also got my tires in , I've had numerous brand names out there in all different sizes and I went with the km2's because I never hear anything bad said about them from the guys that daily there rigs to the guys that run them on there wheeler
NOW IT IS TIME TO GET BUSY !

Looks good so far. I have the same tires. Ran my first trail a week ago on them 1 day after I got them put on, they stuck to rocks and kept good traction in mud.
Get 4.88s for those axles. It's a perfect ratio for wheeling IMHO
Let me know how you like them long arms, I've been looking at the same ones
Keep up the good work man

Mines an auto, I run about 2200 rpm at 65 on the highway. But down a hill climb or steep trail in 1st gear I don't have to touch the brakes and I'm going like 1 mph if that

My Speedo don't work either. Because yours Is a standard I would do more research on what gears to run. I saw someone who said they like 4.10s and 35s with the manual a while back
