Well last night was pretty funny, i decided to take my roof rack off, so my friend came over to help me do it in the pooring rain, and after we finished he wanted to take his 2wd dodge ram mudding.... So I ofcourse aaid yes and We ended up going into this construction site down the street and, of course, he gets stuck bad. We called up our friend in his land rover to try to pull it out but it wasnt going anywhere. I didnt really want to get mine muddy since I just detailed it but we went and got it to try, mine was to light to do anything and was just spinning so we took it back home and came back to the truck, about that time a cop pulls around and we hop in the rover and left and he pulled us over and asked what was goin on, we told him the story and he just laughed and said if we got it out there would be no charges. So we calle up my friends dads TJ on 33s and tried, it still wouldnt budge. We tried his dads hummer, it still wouldn't budge, and broke a chain and my tow strap. So we called my friend with his cj and tried his winch.... Wouldn't budge it. And while this wa happening, about 4 cops had showed up and were watching us and laughing the whole time. We finally called a kid in his lifted 2500 Sierra about 4 hours into it and hooked it up, he floored it an rolled coal and yanked him out. The kid was an idiot doing that but finally got that damn dodge out. The cops got on their pa's and said have a nice night and left lol. And one of them played "get a lil mud on the tires" over his pa to, it was the funniest thing ever. We were all covered in mud but pretty eventful night.... heres a picture of my buddies truck and a picture of him.... his whole interior is swamped haha

I was out washing my jeep the other day and This stock xj rolls up that lives aound the corner and we started talking about jeeps and he asked what I did with my roof rack and asked to buy it. Sold it to him for 220$ and now I can finally buy my new leafs and a pillar light mounts! Oh and my battery died.... Again haha

well quite a few things have happened since i last updated my build.
I finally bought an amp for my sub, ended up wiring it under my rear seat and im pretty happy with how it sounds. total cost for sub, amp, and wiring was 150$. oh and I bought a mag lite, mounts are on their way.

cleaned the jeep up, and I went and picked up a christmas tree, and the guy who tied it up asked me why my jeep was so damn big haha, i just smiled

and then sunday I decided to do some wheeling with my friend. fun time at the bottoms.

and then later that night i had my sis and her bf(owns a 99 2dr) with me and we went out to eat, he wanted to see what mine could do so we went back to the bottoms and went through everything, and then decided to go to these trails down the road. I saw this little mud hole so i went through it, it had a layer of ice over it but i just trudged on through and all of a sudden both of my diffs bottomed out on giant ruts and i was stuck, and just spinning. i should have tried airing down, but called up my friend with his cj and his winch but it couldnt get me to budge, so i finally called up my bud with his old lifted hunting truck and he yanked me right out, covered the back of my jeep with mud but got me out haha. I think im done with mud for a while lol, or am going to be investing in a winch.

Oh and idk if putting your amp under the rear seat is a good idea. They do heat up a bit and being enclosed might not be the best for it.

and you know what I just realized.... our jeeps are starting to look almost exactly the same. lights, tires, lift size, and about to have the same rims.... creepy haha

its fine, I bought it from a great shop and the owner encouraged me to put it there. if it breaks, or overheats he will be hearing from me.

Looks like a fun time! I love the gloss black too. What wheels are you getting and what backspacing are you getting? I've got 3.75 BS right now and I wish I had gotten a bit more(or less?lol). But for my lift its fine.

How is that CJ with the winch not pulling you out of places? Lol.

When I lived in VA I used to drive down the highways for fun and yank people out of ditches with my TJ.

Anyways, jeep looks awesome and I love that headliner and overhead. Have you checked your alternator? Your battery seems to die often.

thanks man, and i ordered black rock matte black soft 8s, 3.75 bs.(less bs more they stick out) thats as wide of a rim as i could find. its not necessarily the rim that makes them stick out, its all in the tire width.

the cjs winch is an old school ramsey rated 8k lbs, so idk. the only thing i could see it used for would be pulling his jeep out if he got in a situation. Everytime hes tried to pull someone out the winch just pulls him, and his tires just dig in.

as for the battery. im just stupid and leave stuff on haha, ive had the alternator tested before.

Lol, you guys should try hooking up a towstrap to him and someone else before you winch to add more weight.
