I ended up using a 3/8" ratchet with a 1/2" 12pt socket. Then just tried to gauge as best I could based on the amount of pressure I was applying to the torque wrench. I almost just went and bought a 3/8 torque wrench from harbor freight, as theyre usually on sale for under $20.

Drove it around the block for about 20 min today. Runs like a champ but damn if it didnt start to run hot again. hmm Its got a Failsafe 180 in it already so Im not quite sure what to do... im thinking maybe the radiator isnt in the best shape. I was also purposely trying to overheat it thought too. Anyone have any experience with coolant additives to help it run cooler?

Got the wheels and tires on FINALLY and got the alignment done.
Also put on the Smittybuilt molle seat cover. Will probably change the pouches around a bit. Cover is made for a wrangler, but fit the XJ seat pretty well.

You should send a pic to your Condor sales rep. He would be proud. I like those seat covers, do they make anything for the rear seats?

Not yet, I have a buddy of mine locally that makes tactical gear. If I can get him away from some other projects I was going to have him make me one. If it was popular, maybe sell um... idk. Will see

They do look pretty good! They get in the way of folding rear seat down though?

Havent tried yet. Ill get back to ya.

Trimmed front fenders up. Got the first one done, and the second one half way, and the stupid harbor freight air saw broke. Gunna go return it and Ill finish it up tomorrow I guess. (note Im on 31's and I was rubbing the front bumper and trimming REAL bad when I turned... which i was told isnt supposed to happen on 31's with a 3" lift) Heres the first side done.

after pulling the trim and mounting hardware

done

Made some homebrew hood vents this past week. Also took it down and got it smogged today so I can finally register it.

VERY nice work. Real clean. I love the attention to detail and tediousness.
