Update on the Airsoft BBs. I have gone from 25mph-60mph and it is rolling as smooth as ever. Working great so far.

Also I went eBay shopping and bought some 2014 Cherokee dark grey emblems, since I was not happy with the Plasti-dip method. Also saw the grill and corner sticker on there and snagged them up. I figured my XJ needed some "easter eggs" of it's own, lol.

Nice man. I think you'll be very impressed with it. Couple things I found out. The measurements they give you for control arms are a starting point, that does not mean you can't adjust from there to achieve a better pinion angle or caster angle. Also use cobalt drill bits with cutting oil for the drilling. It will make life easier and will keep you from wasting money on cheaper black oxide bits, that will not get the job done.

Thanks for the tip. Been buying tid bits here and there in preparation. New rims, shocks, tires, shackles, bolts and the list goes on. PB blasting once a week! I'll be shimming and t-case drop until I can do the SYE. SYE is about 2 months away. Because of the newness of this lift, I was really greatfull for your build sheet concerning the lift. The guys at MC were really great, really pleased with customer service. Thanks again for taking time to post.

No problem, I'm here to help if you have any questions. Sounds like you got a good idea of what needs to be done already though. Eric helped me out during my lift install as well with quick responses to questions, good people. I think only 1 other guy had this kit before me, so it did take a leap of faith to purchase this and I'm very glad I did so far.

Still haven't put on the new emblems yet, been busy working on my 95 XJ.
Now I have a clicking coming from the front end and it's getting worse, looks like it is time to replace the axle U-Joints. I wished I would have done that when I replaced the hub bearings now.

But good news is, I installed some Truck Lite LED headlamps. I feel like I am driving a Lexus now...no not really, but I can see as good as one, haha.

New emblems from the new cherokee and a cheap Overland badge that I'll replace with a Mopar badge one day, didn't realize it would be so big. That is the theme of the build anyway, so why not have the badge.

Couple of stickers I found on eBay. Thought I'd give my XJ some "easter eggs" of it's own, haha.

It's not big, lol. Just the benefits of being single in the military with very few bills.

Thank you for sharing your progress, its been fun to read.

Couple Qs:

1. What made you pick the LII shackle relo brackets over the rest of the market
2. Are you still at ~4.25" lift in the front and rear after a few months of use or have the springs relaxed?
3. Have you considered control arm drop brackets to increase ride quality and front suspension down travel?

Excellent work on your XJ.

1. I did not like the multi piece brackets and mounting system on most of them. LII is 1 piece of welded together steel. Also I liked the shorter angled design better than the longer squared off design of others. It allows the shackles a little more travel than other ones.

2. I haven't measured recently, but I have not noticed any significant drop from the suspension.

3. Yes I am highly considering some drop brackets in the future.
