Haha, yeah there were times during the lift, where I scratched my head and wondered how this is gonna be done, then I found a way. Afterall our motto is Essayons, which is Let us Try.

I know, don't forget I was EOD before I was a medic... My mentality still hasn't changed and my jeep is moving along. Anytime I find an obstacle I push through and make it happen one way or another.

Yeah not looking forward to that day when it comes, since I have 4" on Beadlocks.

Nah man I always go to that place in Wahiawa that's always packed. Haven't been since my lift, but they seem alright.

I'll try to see if I can get the address of the guy I went to downtown that passed me every time. He charges 50-60 bucks and his shops logo is the same as the rolling stones.

Well tonight, I finally got some time to put on my Hutchinson beadlocks. Luckily I got to use the tire machine at the Auto Skills center on post, instead of using the Hi-Lift to get my tires off my stock wheels. Much easier and safer.

Here are the pieces to the wheel.

Got my .25g Airsoft BBs weighed out to about 8oz per tire. Should be enough to keep them balanced, we'll see.

The beadlock insert they shipped with my wheels are the BL-0086 REV D. Judging by the outdated picture on Quadratec, these are meant for 35" tires and up and the BL-0032 insert was meant for the smaller tires with thinner sidewall beads. Well these Kevlar tires have a pretty hefty bead and I plan on upgrading tires in the future and I could not find any cautionary tales against using these with smaller tires, so I just rolled with it.

These wheels went together super easy, very high quality. One thing worth mentioning is to be sure and lube the white rubber o-ring with vaseline to improve the seal and hold it in the groove while you position the outer half onto the lower half.

The manual called for 95-105ft lbs in a star pattern. I chose to torque them to 75 ft lbs first and then to 95 ft lbs. I think this would help it come together more flush than going straight to 100 ft lbs. I don't know, I was drinking, it made sense at the time.

Puttin the ARB compressor to work and it made quick work, going from 0-30psi on the 31s. I was happy with the performance of the CKMA12 on this size tire.

I chose to go blackwall out this time. It seemed to fit the more subdued look I was going for. It was really dark, so I will get some pictures of them mounted tomorrow and let me tell you...it looks serious!

Well I wash going to wash it, before I took pictures, but I got lazy so here there are. 15x8 with 3.625" backspacing on 31x10.5 tires. It'll look perfect once I trim, put Napier flares on and upgrade to 32x11.5 after I regear.

Those wheels are sick. The tires looked much bigger when they were leaning on the front of the Jeep haha originally thought they were 32 or 33s.
