The XJ is still doing well and survived 9 months in captivity with no issue, haha.
Do to increasing job responsibilities I haven't really had the time to do anything to it. There isn't a convenient place to work on it, like I had in Hawaii. So it is still the same Jeep as it was 2 yrs ago. I will be moving into an apartment later this year, so maybe I'll get something from JCR, who knows.
Also been tossing around the idea of selling the XJ and getting a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, which comes with almost everything that I plan on doing to the XJ anyway. If I complete the XJ as I have planned it would be about a $50k investment vs. a $50k brand new vehicle. The only thing stopping me is the complexity and reliability of the new systems in the long term. I can always fix the XJ though.

Another option might be to keep the XJ and slowly build it and add something like this to the stable for fun during the summer. A low mileage 2006 Z06 is still cheaper than a brand new Trailhawk.
Or I could stop being needy, save money and enjoy what I got and still love.

This thread has everything I've done to it, but here is the Autotrader link as well. -> Autotrader Link
For Sale Thread
I ended up getting a 2018 Colorado Z71 diesel, loving the much improved gas mileage so far.
