So now we got another deal. The guy that picked it up for me has a blazer on 37s. He's got an older 14 bolt with disc brakes and brand new Yukon 5.13s. He says if I give him 200 he'll take the newer axle and give me his. Only deal is I'd really rather have the ebrake..

And also because I live in Virginia and we still have safety inspections. I'm a safety inspector so little **** I can fly by with but not having a handbrake is not preferred by me.
Also nice to have just in case.

I'm thinking about it honestly.. I mean $200 for a 14 bolt with brand new disk brakes and Yukon 5.13 gears. I'm pretty sure that I can do a TMR shave kit a little easier too because their aren't any ribs on the older 14 bolts

Just finished installing a second electrical fan. Simply wired it off the first one and threw a relay in between. next week I'll wire in an on off switch for water crossings.
Kind of insane how much quieter and smoother it runs now

Replaced my steering box last night with a Durango box.
Also found that after replacing my mechanical fan with two elective l electric fans not only does it heat up much quicker but the fans and taking my trans out of overdrive if I'm over 50mph, I went from 9-10 mpg to 11-12

Bought a 2007 GMC Sierra last week. The jeep is now not the daily driver fortunately. Unfortunately with a truck payment work on the jeep is going to be much slower than before

It's a 2007, 99k miles, 5.3, 4wd, extended cab, mid box. It's fully loaded, pretty much everything a denali would have. I paid $16,700 at a big chevy dealer and with that I got a month warranty that covers everything. So far I've gotten 4 new tires, new spare tire hoist, passenger mirror motor, front license plate bracket and abs computer cleared all at no cost to me. I'm dropping it back off in a couple weeks for them to do a line-x bed liner for about $400

Been awhile since I've done anything. Took the jeep out to wheel and camp at George Washington national forest. Easy trails but covered in snow still. Found a 87 YJ that rolled down a 150ft hill maybe 2 weeks before we got there. Had a freshly rebuilt 4.2l, tranny, transfer case and a brand new lift kit. Poor guy.
Also blew up my radiator about a mile from the end of the trail. Let it cool down a bit then went jeep speed going about 35 mph out of the trail. Replace the radiator and blew up a tranny line after. Oh well
